Home-Made Guacamole

I absolutely love guacamole and usually end up buying batches of the stuff from the local supermarket. We use it in a lot of recipes – Mexican being the obvious one, but it’s just a great dip in general. And as I’ve been attempting to use the food processor more I thought why not try making it from scratch? There are so many recipes online, in the end I opted for a ‘freestyle’ approach.

To replicate just add two avocados to a blender, a juice of one lime and a tsp of habanero sauce and mix well. It forms a really creamy mixture and tastes amazing. The lime gives it a fresh taste and the bit of spice gives it a real kick. It is a bit more expensive making guacamole yourself but I would definitely say it tastes better and you know exactly what’s going in it!
